IMF rep: Recession may await some countries next year

October 4, Fineko/abc.az. The countries of the world can avoid global recession if they adhere to proper fiscal policy, but recession is still likely to take place in some states next year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting IMF managing director Kristalina Georgieva.

"The global recession can be prevented if the fiscal policy of governments is coordinated with the tightening of monetary policy, but there will probably be countries that will slide into recession next year," she said.
