Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $94.15 a barrel

October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Friday’s trading after rising for four consecutive sessions.

The price of December’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange dropped by $0.27 (0.29%) to $94.15 per barrel by 09:32 am. Following the trading on 6 October, those contracts rose by $1.05 (1.13%) to $94.42 per barrel.

The price of November’s futures for WTI crude oil on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:32 am decreased by $0.25 (0.28%) to $88.20 per barrel. Following the trading on 6 October, the value of those contracts increased by $0.69 (0.79%) to $88.45 per barrel.

According to Dow Jones data, Brent oil has updated the maximum for the month, WTI oil has risen to the maximum since 14 September. Oil prices may end the week with an 11% rise.
