Oil gets cheaper after last week's rise, and Brent is at $96.97 per barrel

October 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are declining in Monday’s trading after last week's growth of more than 15%.

The price of December Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange fell by $0.95 (0.97%) to $96.97 per barrel by 09:13. Following the trading on 7 October, those contracts rose by $3.50 (3.69%) to $97.92 per barrel.

The price of November futures for WTI crude oil on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:14 decreased by $0.87 (0.94%) to $91.77 per barrel. Following the trading on 7 October, the value of those contracts rose by $4.19 (4.74%) to $92.64 per barrel.

Following the past week, Brent crude oil increased in price by 15.01% and WTI oil by 16.54%.
