Industrial production in eurozone has grown

October 12, Fineko/abc.az. The industrial production in the eurozone in August 2022 increased by 2.5% year-on-year, and for the month - by 1.5%.

ABC.AZ reports that analysts surveyed by portal DailyFX believed that the annual indicator grew by 1.2% and the monthly indicator by 0.6%.

In the EU, the industrial production in August increased by 3.5% year-on-year, and on a monthly basis by 1.1%.

At that, production of durable goods - in monthly terms - in the eurozone increased by 0.9% and in the EU by 0.3%. The production of short-term consumer goods in the eurozone grew by 0.7% and in the EU by 0.9%.

Production in the fuel & energy sector in the eurozone in August decreased by 2.1% on a monthly basis and in the EU by 2%. The intermediate goods production in the eurozone reduced by 0.5% in the EU by 0.4%.

The most significant industrial growth in August to July was recorded in Ireland (+16.6%), Estonia (+5%) and Denmark (+4.3%). The largest monthly decrease was recorded in Sweden (-7%), Belgium (-6.1%) and the Netherlands (-1.5%).
