Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $92.45 a barrel

October 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are growing in Monday’s trading, after falling following the past week.

The price of December Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.82 (0.90%) to $92.45 per barrel by 09:15 am. Following the trading on 14 October, those contracts fell by $2.94 (3.11%), to $91.63 per barrel.

The price of November futures for WTI crude oil on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:15 am grew by $0.75 (0.88%) to $86.36 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 October, the value of those contracts slumped by $3.50 (3.93%), to $85.61 per barrel.

At the end of last week, Brent crude oil fell in price by 6.42% and WTI oil by 7.59%.
