October 17, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 October 2022, 818.2 tons of green tea were collected from the fields.

Compared with the 2021 same term, the number of green tea leaves collected decreased by 19.3%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee. In particular, tobacco production decreased by 39% to 2,900 tons.

Also, as of 1 October 2022, 3.47 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, including corn, were exported from the fields (6.1% less versus Jan-Sept 2021), 1.2 million tons of potatoes (3.8% more), 1.665 million tons of vegetables (1.6% more), 466,500 tons of melons (1.8% more), 765,600 tons of fruits and berries (3.4% more), 182,300 tons of grapes (0.7% more), 57,700 tons of sugar beet (50.7% less), 38,800 tons of cotton (14.1% less), 26,600 tons of sunflower (8.9% more).
