Retail trade turnover grew by 3.5% on enterprises in real terms

October 18, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has published a statement concerning statistical data on goods purchased by consumers in the retail chain for Jan-Sept.

ABC.AZ reports that for the past months of this year the value of goods sold by non-state sector economic entities increased in real terms by 2.9% (versus Jan-Sept 2021) up to 99.7% of the total retail turnover.

Compared with Jan-Sept 2021, country’s retail trade turnover grew in real terms by 3.5% on enterprises, by 1.9% on individual entrepreneurs and by 4.2% on markets and fairs.

One person of the population bought an average of 392.7 manats per month in the retail trade network, including foods, beverages and tobacco products for 221.1 manats, nonfoods for 171.6 manats.
