October 18, Fineko/abc.az. The final works on the construction of infrastructure and supply systems are underway at Khojasan metro station. The station will be commissioned by the end of the year. This includes the first stage of both the station and the electric depot, ABC.AZ reports, citing Baku Metro’s spokesman Bakhtiyar Mammadov.

He added that in accord with the stage of development of the purple line, construction works related to the second and third stages of the electric depot will be carried out in the future.

Mammadov told about the metro station with conditional name B4, built on Jalil Mammadguluzade Street in Baku, behind the Heydar Aliyev Sports & Concert Complex:

"Construction works are underway at B4 station. There were no serious problems with the geological tables on the first and second levels. Currently, construction is underway on the third level, and construction is ongoing on the planned schedule. After completion of the work on the fourth level, a statement about its commissioning will be made. Completion of the construction is scheduled until the end of next year."
