Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $93.09 per barrel

October 20, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades continue rising in Thursday's trading.

The price of December Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange rose by $0.68 (0.74%) to $93.09 per barrel by 09:30 am. Following the trading on 19 October, those contracts rose by $2.38 (2.64%) to $92.41 per barrel.

The price of November futures for WTI crude oil on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:30 am increased by $1.24 (1.45%) to $86.79 per barrel. Following the trading on 19 October, the value of those contracts grew by $2.73 (3.30%) to $85.55 per barrel.

The November WTI futures expire at the close of trading on Thursday. The December WTI contracts rose by $1.19 (1.41%) to $85.71 per barrel.
