October 24, Fineko/abc.az. The restriction on the entry of trucks into the center of Baku will come into force, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Main Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Taking into account the numerous appeals of citizens related to the elimination of congestion on the roads that have recently arisen in the city of Baku and optimization of the current situation, the Cabinet Ministers’ Commission on organization, regulation & safety of road traffic has made a decision banning trucks weighing more than 8 tons with cargo to enter the city of Baku from 07:00 to 22:00 and trucks carrying fuel from 06:00 to 00:00. The decision is one of the appropriate measures aimed to increase the capacity of roads, improve the transport provision of the population and more reliable road safety, including, with the exception of emergency recovery and rescue vehicles.
