Central Bank of China lowers exchange rate of yuan to US dollar

October 31, Fineko/abc.az. The People's Bank of China (central bank) lowered the yuan exchange rate by 70 points on Monday, to 7.1768 per dollar, ABC.AZ reports with reference to regulator's website.

As follows from central bank’s statistics, the exchange rate of the yuan against the dollar has reached a new minimum level for 14 and a half years - since February 14, 2008. The weakening continues for the second working day in a row.
