31,140 Azerbaijanis visited Istanbul in September

October 31, Fineko/abc.az. In September 2022, 31,140 people from Azerbaijan visited Istanbul (Turkey), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the local Culture & Tourism Department.

This is approximately 2% of the tourists who visited Istanbul during the month. A total of 1.607 million tourists visited Istanbul last month. This is 64% more versus September 2021.

Istanbul was visited by tourists most of all from Russia (170,230) this September. They are followed by citizens of Germany (114,439), Iran (110,539), the USA (77,039) and the UK (58,028).
