October 31, Fineko/abc.az. At the honey fair held from 1 to 20 October 2022, organized jointly by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Association of Beekeepers of Azerbaijan, about 90 tons of beekeeping products were sold (10% less than at last year's honey fair), the Ministry of Agriculture informs.

Each beekeeper participating in the fair could sell a maximum of 400 kg of honey and no more than 30 frames of honey in honeycombs.

This time, products from all districts where there are beekeeping farms were put up for sale. Farmers from the Eastern Zangezur and Karabakh economic regions presented their products for the first time at the bee products fair.

120 tons of products were featured at the fair, and 5 tons of them accounted for Eastern Zangezur and Karabakh economic regions. The quality of the products was carefully checked by the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan.
