Chess tournament dedicated to 8 November “Victory Day” was held under the joint initiative of Baker Tilly Azerbaijan and Mammadyarovs Chess School.

November 5, Fineko/abc.az. On the occasion of November 8 "Victory Day", on the joint initiative of Baker Tilly Azerbaijan and Mammadyarov Chess School, "Zafar" Rapid chess tournament was organized at Absheron branch of Mammadyarov Chess School operating in Absheron Olympic Sports Complex. All the children fought as winners in this competition with great joy and excitement by adding more experience to their chess knowledge.

The Mammadyarov family is known in the world as a family of chess players. Thus, the head of the family, Hamid Mammadyarov, taught his children Zeynab, Shahriyar and Turkan to love chess from early ages, trained them to become three international grandmasters, won more than 40 medals from the world and European championships, and the World Chess Olympiads. Shahriyar Mammadyarov is one of the top 10 strongest chess players in the world. Zeynab Mammadyarova is the European and world champion among young people. Younger sister Turkan is the European champion and world silver medalist.

The goal of this chess-loving family in creating the Mammadyarov Chess School is:

1. To make children love chess.

2. To further develop children's intellectual skills through chess.

3. To achieve the socialization of little geniuses.
