Operating expenses of this pipeline in 3rd quarter reach $49 million

November 4, Fineko/abc.az. During the first 3 quarters of the year, the operating costs of the South Caucasus Pipeline amounted to about $49 million and capital expenditures nearly $4 million, ABC.AZ informs with reference to BP’s report for Q3 of 2022.

The SCP was put into operation at the end of 2006 and delivers gas from Shah Deniz to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, while the expanded SCP began supplying commercial volumes of gas to Turkey in June 2018 and to Europe in December 2020.

Over Jan-Sept 2022, the average daily throughput of the YUKT for export was 56.1 million cu m
