Forecast: In 2023, expenses on servicing the state debt to be AZN 1.5 bn

November 4, Fineko/abc.az. The costs associated with servicing the public debt are projected at $1.5 bn in the State Budget for 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance that out of these expenditures, AZN 775 million are expenses for servicing external public debt and AZN 230 million manats are for internal public debt.

Of the projected expenditures on external public debt in State Budget 2023, AZN 404.7 million are interest expenses on direct external public debt and AZN 370.3 million are payments to be made in exchange for a number of state-owned enterprises in accordance with the relevant agreements of the Azerbaijani government.
