Twitter fired 50% of employees

November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Half of Twitter's employees have been made redundant.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by the head of the security & integrity service of Twitter, Yoel Roth.

To a lesser extent, the dismissals affected the departments for protection against disinformation.

Elon Musk's plans to start reducing the company's staff became known two days after he closed a deal to buy a social network worth $44 billion. A few hours after buying Twitter, he fired the CEO, as well as the CFO. They received monetary compensation in the amount of $122 million.
