Daily sales at online trading platforms in China amounted to almost $157 bn


November 14, Fineko/abc.az. The sales at online trading platforms on the occasion of Bachelor's Day in China reached 1.1 trillion yuans ($156.9 bn).

As follows from the data of Chinese consulting company Syntun in the period from 31 October to 11 November during the entire sales festival the total sales at electronic platforms reached 934 bn yuans ($131.4 bn), Tmall became the leader with a share of 58.03%, followed by JD.com and Pindodo.

At that, Alibaba has not yet published preliminary sales statistics for this year. Also, JD.com, the second largest online trading company did not provide its data.

In 2021, the turnover from sales of goods and services at Alibaba Group sites reached 540.3 bn yuans (about $76 bn).

Mobile phones, digital equipment, clothing, cosmetics, food and beverages, furniture, toys were also popular among buyers in 2022.
