November 16, Fineko/abc.az. The State Budget for 2023 was discussed in parliament, Prime Minister Ali Asadov also took part in the meeting.

At the meeting it was noted that the budget for 2023 was submitted for discussion, while, according to the draft, the consolidated budget revenues in 2023 were projected at the level of AZN 32.939 bn (31.1% of GDP), which in the revised forecast for 2022 means decrease of AZN 3.7 bn, or 10.2%. Next year, budget expenditures are projected at AZN 37.9 bn, which is 35.8% of GDP. Expenses of the consolidated budget for 2022 are by AZN 2.3 bn, or 6.6% more than in the revised forecast.

The consolidated budget for 2023 predicts budget deficit of AZN 4.9 bn.
