Azerbaijani population increased by 0.5%

November 16, Fineko/abc.az. Since the beginning of the year the country's population has increased by 48,408 people, or 0.5%.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that the population of Azerbaijan as of 1 October 2022 reached 10,204,774 people.

52.9% of the population are urban residents, 47.1% are rural residents, while the proportion of men and women remained unchanged.
