November 16, Fineko/abc.az. At today's plenary session of the parliament, Accounts Chamber’s chairman Vugar Gulmammadov spoke about the subsidies to be allocated from the State Budget.

ABC.AZ reports that he noted that according to the budget documents submitted in Azerbaijan, it is planned to allocate subsidies in the amount of AZN 1.7 bn from the State Budget next year.

"Our proposal relates to determining the mechanism on which conditions and in what order subsidies from the budget will be provided. This can be not only a regulatory framework for financial control, but also a reliable criterion for strengthening budget discipline for both the Ministry of Finance and the Accounts Chamber, which exercises external state financial control. This will also lead to the specification of the nature of the subsidy in the coming years and the reduction of costs envisaged in this regard," Gulmammadov said.
