Cost of oil drops, and Brent is at $88.22 a barrel

November 23, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are decreasing in Wednesday’s trading after a rise in the previous session.

The cost of January Brent futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange fell by 0.14 (0.16%) and is $88.22 per barrel by 9:30 am. Following the trading on 22 November, these contracts rose by $0.91 (1.04%) to $88.36 per barrel.

By 9:30 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for January on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) declined by $0.08 (0.10%), to $80.87 per barrel. Following the trading on 22 November, the value of these contracts increased by $0.91 (1.14%) to $80.95 per barrel.
