Ilham Aliyev abolished NAR State Customs Committee

November 28, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on amendments to the Regulation and structure of the State Customs Committee.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the presidential decree, the State Customs Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) is being abolished.

In addition, the SCC was instructed to submit its proposals on improving the structure of the department within a month and submit these proposals to the Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan.

The Security Service of Azerbaijan conducted an operation in the NAR Customs Committee, various high-ranking officials, who are accused of large-scale embezzlement of state funds, were arrested.
