Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $86.79 a barrel

December 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are decreasing in Thursday’s trading.

The cost of February Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange decreased by $0.18 (0.21%), to $86.79 per barrel by 9:18 am. Following the trading on 30 November, Brent crude futures for February grew by $2.72 (3.23%) to $86.97 per barrel.

January Brent crude futures, which ended trading on 30 November, showed an increase in the session by $2.40 (2.89%), to $85.43 per barrel.

By 9:18 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for January on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $0.18 (0.22%), to $80.37 per barrel. Following the trading on 30 November, the price of January WTI oil futures grew by $2.35 (3.01%) to $80.55 per barrel.
