Serbian government warns companies

December 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Serbian Cabinet Ministers has decided to limit the prices of basic foodstuffs, including sugar, flour and sunflower oil.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that according to the decision, the maximum price for vegetable oil should not exceed 219.99 dinars per liter ($1.98), for granulated sugar – 114.99 dinars per kg ($1.035), for flour of the highest quality - 84.7 dinars per kg ($0.77).

At that, the government warned companies not to reduce food imports into the country after the introduction of these prices. Those who take such a step will face a fine of $850 to $17,000, as well as suspension of activity for 6 months and 1 year.
