December 5, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has received today Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov. 

ABC.AZ reports that Meredov conveyed greetings of President of Turkmenistan Sardar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the People's Council of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for the congratulations and also asked to convey his greetings to Sardar Berdimuhamedov and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the conversation, it was noted that friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are successfully developing in various fields, including economic, transport, humanitarian. The role of the visit of the head of state to Turkmenistan this year and the meetings held during the visit with the Turkmen leader and the chairman of the People's Council of the Turkmen Parliament in the development of our relations was emphasized.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation.
