Kazakh tankers are stuck in the straits of Turkey

December 8, Fineko/abc.az. The stay of Kazakh tankers carrying oil in the straits of Turkey did not entail losses for Kazakhstan.

ABC.AZ reports that chairman of board of national company KazMunayGas Magzum Mirzagaliyev made the above-said statement to journalists.

"This does not lead to losses for our economy. As historically tankers took 14 days to pass through the Bosphorus Strait. Losses can occur only if we reduce oil production," he said.
Mirzagaliyev noted that "today the situation is not critical", the Kazakh authorities have begun to actively engage in this.
