New state duty for work permits for foreigners to be charged

December 9, Fineko/abc.az. New duties are being established for the issuance and extension of permits for foreigners and stateless persons to engage in paid work on the territory of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law on State Duty, considered at today's Milli Majlis meeting. 

According to the draft, it is proposed to charge a state duty from foreigners and stateless persons for job permission.
A state fee of 1,600 manats is fixed within 10 days for the issuance and extension of a work permit for up to 1 year and 6 months and 1,800 manats for up to 2-year work permit and state duty of 1,400 manats is fixed within 15 days for work permit for up to 1 year and 6 months and 1,600 manats for up to 2-year job permit.
