EU allocated €18 bn to Ukraine

December 12, Fineko/abc.az. The EU Council approved the provision of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of €18 bn in 2023. 

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that this is stated in a press release published on Saturday on the website of the authority.

"The Council has reached an agreement on a legislative package that will allow the EU to provide financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of €18 bn during 2023," it said.
The loan of €18 bn for Ukraine will have 10-year grace period. The proposal adopted by the EU Council will be sent to the European Parliament for possible adoption next week, according to a press release.
