Erdogan: Be ready to reduce inflation in 2023 to 20%

ABC.AZ reports that Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the relevant statement following a government meeting.

It is obvious that within a few months, inflation will drop to 40%. I say openly: be ready to reduce inflation in 2023 to 20%. The common future and interests of 85 million citizens of this country are more important to us than the desire of each person for personal gain. We are determined to do everything possible to reduce inflation to 20% by the end of 2023 and to single digits in 2024, as we planned," Erdogan said.
