June 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Transport, Communications & High Technology and the Ministry of Taxes are in the process of negotiations on improvement of the taxation mechanism in the field of transport services.

Khabib Hasanov, the head of the Transport Minsitry’s State Road Transport Service, said that negotiations are being held between the Ministry of Taxes and the civil service.

"The subject of talks is the issue of improving the taxation mechanism in the field of transportation of passengers and cargo. The proposals for improvement imply prevention of tax evasion and timely and full tax collection through the use of modern information & communication services," Hasanov said.
