December 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Economic Construction & Supply Department of the Science & Education Ministry has announced the largest tenders of the Ministry at the end of the year.

ABC.AZ reports that a total of 42 tenders distributed a state order worth AZN 91.5 million.

Most of the orders – AZN 74.7 million – will be spent on the construction and overhaul of new schools.

The funds allocated for construction of some schools reach AZN 9-10 million.

Thus, Hidro Construction LLC will be paid AZN 8.9 million for construction of a new full secondary school for 1,200 students in the residential area of Yeni Baki in Masazir settlement of Absheron district.

Two contracts have been signed with Azinvest Inshaat CJSC for AZN 6.776 million and AZN 9.45 million, respectively. The first contract envisages demolition of secondary school # 8 in the city of Khirdalan and construction of a new school for 960 students; the second – construction of a school in Khojasan settlement in Binagadi district of Baku for 1,200 students.
