Up to 2,000 new jobs created in Azerbaijan with EU support

December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Currently, Azerbaijan is numbering more than 400 European companies.

ABC.AZ reports that EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko stated about this during a press conference dedicated to the results of 2022.

Michalko pointed out that companies from the EU contribute to the creation of new jobs in Azerbaijan.

"European companies are stimulating the creation of new jobs, up to 2,000 new jobs have been created in Azerbaijan with the support of companies from the EU," he stressed.

He also emphasized that next year the EU plans to continue investing in Azerbaijan's agribusiness and tourism sectors.
