Value of oil increases, and Brent is at $84.77 a barrel

December 28, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising weakly in Wednesday’s trading.

The price of March Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.09 (0.11%) to $84.77 per barrel by 09:25 am. Following the trading on 27 December, Brent crude futures for March grew by $0.18 (0.21%) up to $84.68 per barrel.

By 09:25 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for February on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.08 (0.10%) to $79.61 per barrel. Following the trading on 27 December, the price of February futures for WTI oil fell by $0.03 (2.67%) to $79.53 per barrel.
