Music festival ‘Zhara’ in Baku is in Top 3 of best on CIS area

June 12, Fineko/abc.az. Analytical agency Turstat has presented the rating of this summer’s best open-air music festivals of the CIS countries.

According to Turstat, ‘Rok za Bobrov’ in Minsk (Belarus), ‘Zhara’ (Heat) in Baku (Azerbaijan) and ‘FourE’ in Almaty Oblast (Kazakhstan) are in Top 3 of CIS music festivals, which are popular among Russian tourists.

The rating is based on the results of the festival attendance analysis.

Third music festival ‘Zhara’ will be held from 26 to 29 July on the territory of the Sea Breeze resort in Baku on the coast of the Caspian Sea. The ‘Zhara 2018 program includes such singers and bands as EMIN, Grigory Leps, LOBODA, Leningrad, A'studio, Artik & Asti, Alekseyev, Burito, Valery Meladze, Yegor Krid and others.

The entrance ticket for ‘Zhara 2018’ for fanzone costs about $30, the sitting ticket from $50 to $300. Last year, the ‘Zhara’ festival was attended by more than 10,000 people.

Three of the most popular CIS open-air festivals in the summer of 2018:

1. ‘Rok za Bobrov’, Minsk: August 4

2. ‘Zhara’, Baku: July 26-29

3. ‘FourE’, Almaty: August 17-19
