Baku Stock Exchange turnover decreased

January 9, Fineko/abc.az. The total value of transactions concluded on all financial instruments at the Baku Stock Exchange amounted to AZN 14.947 bn in 2022.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the BSE that this is 2.3% less than in 2021.

The number of contracts concluded over the past year decreased by 11.2% to 10,501.

55.6% of BSE turnover or AZN 8.3 bn accounted for government securities (14.1% more than in 2021).

In 2022, the value of transactions on the corporate securities market increased by about 92.8% to AZN 1.57 bn, the value of repo transactions decreased by about 29.7% to AZN 5.06 bn.
