January 11, Fineko/abc.az. Taiwanese shipping company Evergreen Marine has paid an annual bonus to its employees, on average corresponding to 50 monthly salaries.

ABC.AZ reports that the company decided to thank its employees for a super-successful year: Evergreen's revenue by the end of the year should be about $20.7 bn (almost 30% more than in 2021 and 3-fold higher against 2020).

The amount of the annual bonus has reached 52 monthly salaries in some cases. So, according to the local media, some employees received a bonus of $65,000 on 30 December.

However, such large-scale payments were due only to those who are bound by contractual obligations directly with the Taiwan office of Evergreen. And, for example, the employees of the Shanghai division of the company were extremely dissatisfied with their annual bonus and complained about the unfair attitude of the management. According to Caixin news portal, they received a bonus of 5-8-month salaries.
