Cost of oil grows, and Brent is at $82.83 a barrel

January 12, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Thursday’s trading after steady rise in the previous session.

The price of March Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange grew by $0.16 (0.19%) up to $82.83 per barrel by 09:50 am. Following the trading on 11 January, Brent crude futures for March rose by $2.57 (3.21%) up to $82.67 per barrel.

By 09:50 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for February on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.15 (0.19%), up to $77.56 per barrel. Following the trading on 11 January, the value of February futures for WTI oil grew by $2.29 (3.05%) up to $77.41 per barrel.
