VAT refund interests increased

January 12, Fineko/abc.az. The implementation of the president-endorsed amendments to the Tax Code in connection with the VAT Refund project has begun.

ABC.AZ informs that the amount of VAT refunded to consumers for non-cash transactions has already been increased.

According to the changes, from 1 January 2023 the amount of VAT returned to consumers has been increased from 15% up to 17.5% for non-cash transactions. And for cash transactions, it has been reduced from 10% to 5%.
