January 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has published a report on the continued dominance of the non-profit sector in payment receipts in 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that the amount of payment receipts in the construction sector increased by 61% or AZN 1.9 bn compared with the relevant term of previous year up to AZN 5.2 bn.

The main groups contributing to the growth in this area of economic activity were the construction of roads and streets, the construction of railways (an increase of AZN 1.2 bn), the construction of residential and non-residential buildings (a rise of AZN 490 million) and pilot construction works (a rise of AZN 313 million).

Decrease in this area was recorded on the groups of specialized construction works (-19%) and finishing works (-9%).
