Budget receipts on unemployment insurance increased by 19%

January 16, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, Azerbaijan’s budget revenues on contributions to compulsory social insurance increased by 19.2% against 2021 and reached AZN 4.586 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov wrote about this on Twitter.

He stressed that this happened amid the process of legalization of the informal labor market and the “whitewashing” of the wage fund: “In this period, income from unemployment insurance grew by 19% up to AZN 160.2 million.”
