Milli Majlis discussion: Interest rates on bank loans are too high

January 19, Fineko/abc.az. Today, interest rates on loans given by banks operating in Azerbaijan are very high (from 18% to 26%).

ABC.AZ reports that MP Azai Guliyev, a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Policy & State Construction, when delivering speech at today's meeting of the Committee.

"This is one of the causes of the inflating of the portfolio of problem loans. The issue of lending should take into account the rights of entrepreneurs, that is, banks. It should be so that both citizens earn and banks receive income," Guliyev considers.
