January 19, Fineko/abc.az. Discussions have been held at Milli Majlis on the occasion of high interest rates on loans from banks.

ABC.AZ reports that recalling that a large number of banks were liquidated some time ago, MP Azai Guliyev said that the management of deposits in these banks was entrusted to the appropriate fund:

"Several applicants come to us at election meetings with statements that they took out a loan from a liquidated bank and have so far paid twice the amount they took on themselves. But the Deposit Insurance Fund requires funds from a citizen in excess of the loan amount that he takes. After all, the bank has been liquidated, and the citizen has paid the required amount. A citizen belongs to a stratum in need of social support. When he takes out a loan, he mortgages his house, and if he cannot repay the loan, his house is auctioned off, and he remains homeless. Therefore, I propose to support people from vulnerable segments of the population. This issue should be settled in some form."
