January 23, Fineko/abc.az. The amendments have been made to the procedure for approving contracts on alienation and mortgage of property.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, President Ilham Aliyev approved the amendments to the Law on Notariat.

According to the new document, contracts on alienation or mortgage of property subject to state registration consist in obtaining in real time from an electronic information system documents or documents on alienated or mortgaged property confirming ownership of motor vehicles, as well as on their passing an examination issued by a body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority confirmed based on the data.

In order for one of the spouses to conclude notarized and (or) registered agreements on the disposal of immovable property in common ownership, a notarized consent of the other party is required.
