January 24, Fineko/abc.az. Inspections in the field of entrepreneurship are suspended until 1 January 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that this issue was reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Law on suspension of inspections in the field of entrepreneurship, discussed at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship on 24 January.

In relation to tax, customs, financial markets, private medical activities, quality control and safety of medicines and food products, fire supervision, state supervision of construction, interference of economic entities in electricity, water, heat- and gas meters and illegal connection to the network outside the meter, in accordance with the requirements of the Law on countering the legalization of property acquired by criminal means and the financing of terrorism, compliance control, as well as inspections in the field of entrepreneurship are suspended until 1 January 2023, with the exception of inspections provided for in the list approved by presidential decree from 26 October 2015. The bill provides for an extension of this period for another year (until January 1, 2024).
