Data on non-cash payments through bank cards made public

January 25, Fineko/abc.az. The card users made non-cash payments for AZN 2.967 bn for December 2022.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the volume of non-cash transactions has doubled.

AZN 2.313 bn of non-cash payments accounted for e-commerce.

Of the remaining amount, AZN 650 million of non-cash payments were carried out through POS-terminals and AZN 2.7 million through self-service terminals. In December, the non-cash domestic transactions via payment cards made up 46.9% of all domestic card transactions.

In addition, there was dynamic growth of the network of payment services of banks. Thus, compared with the end of last December, the number of ATMs increased by 3.1% and the number of POS-terminals increased by 29.8%.
