Czech Raiffeisenbank stops outgoing payments to Belarus and Russia

January 26, Fineko/abc.az. Raiffeisenbank in the Czech Republic stops making outgoing payments to Russia and Belarus from 15 February 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that the bank sent a relevant notification to its customers on 25 January.

The decision relates to all payments and card transactions, regardless of the currency of the outgoing transaction. Previously, such payments were monitored and evaluated for compliance with the current sanctions regulations, but due to the situation in Ukraine, the bank decided to stop carrying them out. At that, incoming payments will be accepted if they "do not contradict the current norms on sanctions and the bank's sanctions policy".
