Mechanism of land plot renting to be improved

January 26, Fineko/abc.az. The mechanism for leasing agricultural land plots owned by the state will be improved.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Land Code, discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Agrarian Policy.

The draft amendment was prepared pursuant to the presidential decree from July 15, 2021 on measures aimed at developing the production & processing industry in the agricultural sector with the purpose of eliminating existing problems in the use of agricultural land (including land plots for pasture, grazing and haymaking), improving the mechanism for providing land for rent and use and strengthening control in this area.
