Price of oil goes up, and Brent is at $85.70 a barrel

February 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Wednesday’s trading.

The price of April Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange grew by $0.24 (0.28%) up to $85.70 a barrel by 09:15 am. Following the trading on 31 January, Brent crude futures for April rose by $0.96 (1.14%) up to $85.46 per barrel.

By 09:15 am, the price of WTI oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.33 (0.42%) up to $79.20 per barrel. Following the trading on 31 January, the price of March WTI oil futures grew by $0.97 (1.25%) up to $78.87 per barrel.
