February 8, Fineko/abc.az. Prices of oil of benchmark grades are rising in Wednesday’s trading after a sharp rise the day before.
The price of April Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.04 (0.05%) up to $83.73 per barrel by 09:05 am. Following the trading on 7 February, Brent crude futures for April rose by $2.70 (3.33%) to $83.69 per barrel.
By 09:05 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) grew by $0.17 (0.22%) up to $77.31 per barrel. Following the trading on 7 February, the price of March WTI oil futures jumped by $3.03 (4.09%) up to $77.14 per barrel.
A range of important decisions were taken in the direction of strengthening social protection of the population, related to increasing wages, labor pensions, social benefits and pensions, in particular, social benefits of the low-income class.
